Just lovely

Great tune and really strong animation. THe walk and run cycles were quite impressive. I didn't care for the slip and slide sound fx but to each their own.

It's not a squirrel, it's a throw back-

A throw back to a mongoose and the story of ricki tikki tavi...At least I think. I really liked it. Had a nice horror movie feel, although I never felt scared for the kid, I was more worried about the snake. The animation was really good, the ending did leave a little to be desired but I kinda get what you were goin' for. Aweso-licious

Nice but why all the effort?

You have some great talent, but you don't really stray far from the original plot or anything, why not put that effort into an original series. Right now it's almost just a 2d version of a game we all played. Feels like more of an exercise to showcase your talent (not a bad idea) but it just feels to me like wasted effort. We've seen this before, you really should use your powers for something original. Or don't, newgroundians love watching these remakes anyway, just sumpin' to think about.

Trust me I have thought about it and I will do so. Right now I am just going to finish this up. I am no crazy person so I am not going to go all the way through the manga. The next one will be the last few chapters and contain a summary of the rest of the story. I should have that done in a month or two if not sooner. Hopefully it will be sooner. So after I make that it will be the end of this. I'm going to spend some time making the last one look good. Then I will take my own story and bring it to life. I even have one in mind already. I hope you stick around to enjoy it. Thanks for the review.

not bad for a first

at least it doesn't have a bunch of flying dicks in it. This needs more animation, it's really a lot of zooms on drawings. Dogs wag their tails and move their head. Also, take into consideration how your music cuts off abruptly and how it just sorta ends. I don't know what to take away, it needs more closure. It's easy to post stuff up before it is really done, but got the extra steps and really make it something. Keep at it.

THis reminds me of what happens when you play the original nintendo, the game fritzes out, but not completly and the background is full of letters and the number seven and the main characters head is a block. Neat animation but needs more purpose. Also the 'noise' doesn't work for that long, other sfx or music would really help. Not sure i got it but neat non the less.

I usually just got a blue screen, or vertical bars running down the screen. If you want some kind of purpose watch 'value". This right here is a different version of it.

Style points

I don't quite get the overall point but I like the flow and look for the most part. Every now and then a mouth that would be singing seemed like it lagged, but that is really the best gripe I have. Nice stuff.

Sweet style homez, but I'm pretty sure dammit is spelled well, dammit. Maybe the clock just didn't have enough space. Kudos anyway.

not bad

Decent hair blown animation but the rest leaves quite a bit to be desired. Also, if you are gonna have a closer shot of her face with her hair blowing AND a shadow, you gotta make the shadow match the movement of the hair. The static shadow doesn't work close up. Not something that's dire but it makes a difference.

Ah, thank you very much for the imput. I know...I was very very lazy with this and there's quite a few things I could have done better. I just didn't feel like working on it too long since it was a kind of spur of the moment kind of video. Still. You're points are ones I'll keep in mind when I create another flash!
